**Customer information...Data protection update**
With each cake booking I take, it is necessary to take some personal details, name, telephone number, address, email, etc...I only ever ask for the information required to fulfil that particular booking,  and I don’t use those details for any other reason. From 25th May 2018 there will be a change in the law and a new piece of legislation called General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will replace the data protection act 1998, I have a duty to inform you that your data is kept secure and only used with regards to your booking, it never has or never will be used by a third party, I keep my order invoices safe and secure only for business tax purposes for up to 5 years after which they are destroyed securely, if at anytime you would like any of your data removed from my files you can do this by emailing myself at: firstchoicecakes@outlook.com.
